The Northolme Practice is an accredited GP Training practice.
GP Registrars and GP Foundation Year Doctors are qualified doctors who are planning a career in general practice. They will be attached to the practice for periods of between 4 to 12 months and will hold their own surgeries under the supervision and guidance of Dr Malone, Dr Howes, and Dr Ross. Sometimes the GP registrars / Foundation Year (FY) doctors may ask for your permission to record your consultation on video. These recordings are treated with strict confidentiality and will only be used for training assessment purposes.

Our Advanced Clinical Practitioners are highly trained, qualified to deal with any clinical presentation. They independently manage their own surgeries and are qualified to prescribe, arrange investigations / tests, and onward referrals to other healthcare services and hospitals.

Our Practice nurse team are qualified, Registered General Nurses (RGN), and registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) who are the nursing and midwifery regulator for the UK.
The nurse team can help with health issues such as family planning, healthy living advice, blood pressure checks and dressings. They also run clinics for long-term health conditions such as asthma, diabetes, minor ailment clinics, and carry out cervical smears.

Practice Manager
Hassan
The Practice Manager is involved in managing all business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide high quality patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.
