We strive to maintain 48 hour access to our medical team for all patients. Therefore the majority of appointments for GP’s are “book on the day”.
Phone appointments are released at 8am for a call back with a Clinician the same day. If your matter is urgent for that same day and we are full at 8am, please call back at 12noon.
If your matter is not urgent for the same day, please call again the next day at 8am or call anytime to book a pre-bookable appointment.
If you require a face to face appointment after your phone call, this will be arranged by the Clinician as appropriate.
The reception team are responsible for managing the allocation of appointments and to do this effectively they will ask for details. The receptionist needs only the briefest detail to be able to direct patients to the most suitable Clinician (Doctor, Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Nurse or Healthcare Assistant).
Each appointment is for one person only with one complaint. If you have a number of concerns that you need to discuss then further appointment time will be necessary. Please advise reception of your needs when booking your appointment.
If for any reason you have to cancel an appointment, please let the reception staff know as soon as possible, you can also cancel your appointment online.
